OVERVIEW
With a total of 28 professionally-trained horses and ponies from Europe, New Zealand and Australia from which to choose coupled with the latest riding and safety equipment, Umalas Equestrian Resort provides a great opportunity for riders of all levels to enjoy a memorable holiday experience in Bali.

Suitable for ages 12 years and above, there are two treks available - a Rice Padi and Beach Ride. Both are available daily in the morning and afternoon and last between one and two hours. For those of you who have always wondered what it would be like to ride into the sunset, it doesn't get much better than this.

SAFARI INFORMATION & HIGHLIGHTS
The day starts with an early morning or late afternoon pick-up from your hotel in an air-conditioned vehicle that brings you to Umalas Stables. You will be greeted and briefed on safety methods and handed your riding equipment (hat and leg protectors). Afterwards you will be assigned a horse and, accompanied by one or more expert horsemen, head for the rice terraces or the beach. Beginners will be led on the tours.

All rates quoted nett per person - inclusive of 21% tax and service charge. No hidden charges.
All rides start and finish at Umalas Stables. The time is calculated from the time you leave the stable to the time you return to the stable. On arrival back at the stable you can freshen-up and have a cold drink before heading back to your hotel.

One Hour Rice Field
Morning start times are: 8.00, 9.00 and 10 am
Afternoon start times are: 3.00, 4.00 and 5.00 pm

Two Hour Beach Tour
Morning start times are: 8.00 and 9.00 am
Afternoon start times are: 3.00 and 4.00 pm

Three Hour Beach Tour
Afternoon start times are: 3.00 and 4.00 pm. Not available July-September.

For rider comfort, it is recommend to wear long pants and closed shoes. A hat and sunscreen is recommended for all outdoor activities in Bali.

Nusa Dua & Sanur: 1 hour before your ride is scheduled to begin.

Kuta & Seminyak: 30 minutes before your ride is scheduled to begin.

Other areas: time to be arranged on day of booking.

Bottled mineral water, helmets, leg protectors and insurance.

Fully trained guides and instructors.

Hotel transfer provided for Sanur, Kuta and Nusa Dua areas only.

The guides are experienced equestrians, trained to take care and handle the horses in order to insure safety for the guests as well as the horses.
